Panasonic Just Launched The New 2-in-1 Toughbook 33

Panasonic just launched their latest Toughbook and it is named the Toughbook 33. If you don’t know what a Toughbook is, it is basically a laptop with a rugged exterior. A lot more bulky but also a lot more durable.

The Toughbook 33 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop. It has a 12 inch 4K touchscreen display. The display is actually completely detachable. So you can turn it into a 12 inch tablet too. On the inside you have the option to include an Intel Core i5 chip or an Intel Core i7 chipset. You get two RAM options of 8GB and 16GB. Internal storage options are 256GB and 512GB SSD. It is a bulky laptop so there is a good amount of space left for battery life and Panasonic does it pretty well too. They claim about 10 hours of battery life with the standard batteries. But with the optional long life battery they claim up to 20 hours of battery life.

The Toughbook 33 has been tested through a lot of different conditions. Panasonic claims military grade MIL-STD-810G specifications. So drop, shock, vibration, altitude, freeze/thaw, rain, dust, sand, high and low temperature, solar radiation, humidity and explosive atmosphere. All of these things have been checked and The Toughbook 33 has been confirmed to withstand all of it. It is also IP65 certified against dust and water too. So any type of tests that can be done on a laptop is done and confirmed to withstand.

The Panasonic Toughbook 33 has a price tag of $3,649. Not the most available price but if you look at the specs and military grade physical aspects. This is still a good price for it. Of course not everyone is going to buy it. But if you are looking for something strong than this is a very good options.
