ZTE has officially launched their new Nubia Z17 Mini and the rumor mill strikes again with a maximum number of them being true. While Cristiano Ronaldo endorses this new smartphone and looks stylish as ever, let us look at the specs.
ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini has a medal-clad body paired with a 5.2 inch 1920×1080 pixel display protected by a 2.5D curved (slightly) glass. They have changed things up on the inside by not only giving you memory options but also a processor option. The standard edition comes with a Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM and internal storage of 64GB. The high edition comes with a Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653, 6GB of RAM and also an internal storage of 64GB. Both have the same Octa-core CPU and Adreno 510 GPU. Has microSD expansion of up to 256 GB using the second SIM card slot. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with a nubia UI 4.0 skin on top.
On the back of the device is a Dual 13 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. On the front of the device is a 16 MP Selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording. The back also contains a fingerprint sensor.
All of this is powered by a Non-removable 2950 mAh Li-Po battery paired with a USB Type C port and fast charging. ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini has a price tag of CNY 1,699, which converts to about $247 for the standard edition and for the high edition you will have to spend CNY 1,999, which is about $290. With color options of Black, Gold you will only be able to get one from China from April 12. No news on an international launch.
