The trend of talking to your smart devices keeps on as Lenovo launches the Smart Assistant. It is kind of similar to the Amazon Echo. In design and in capabilities. Let’s see what we get.
First of all the Lenovo Smart Assistant supports Amazon Alexa. That might be one reason why it looks so much like the Amazon Echo. So it is a cylindrically shaped device. The upper part is silver and the lower part has different colors. The silver upper part contains the controls. That part looks a little separated like a levitating speaker, but it is not a levitating design. Lenovo put 8 speakers all around the Smart Assistant. This will give you a better 360 sound system including echo cancellation and noise suppression.
One version of the system supports Harman Kardon audio. Which is really awesome. It can take commands from up to 16 feet or 5 meters distance. But I guess shouting could also make it work.
Lenovo Smart Assistant has a price tag of $129.99 and for the Harman Kardon edition it costs about $179.99. This is not that much if you think about all the wired things that have high piece tags. Altogether it sounds like a good spend.
