LeEco is trying to get out of the smartphone circle and spread into the tech market. They have just launched a new action camera called the Liveman C1.
LeEco Liveman C1 has a 16MP camera with 140 degree field of view and a G sensor. The G sensor enables automatic recording when the sensor senses movement. It shoots 4K video at 30fps. The 1.8 inch touchscreen display that is also a viewfinder. You get all the other basics like built in Wi-Fi, a microSD card slot and a micro HDMI port. It is actually a little too small to be a handheld device. You have to mount it somewhere, maybe a helmet or probably a drone or a Selfie stick (Most popularly). All of this is powered by a 1,050 mAh battery, which is not enough for a video camera that shoots 4K.
The camera comes with a waterproof case. You can use it to shoot at up to 40m underwater and also a USB cable to charge it up. The Liveman C1 will come out in China around the end of January 28. No details on the price but we should see some details before the market launch.
