Gionee just announced the new M6S Plus. It is a predecessor to the previous Gionee M6 Plus. With this Gionee is giving us a spec sheet worth looking over twice. But is it actually as good as the papers. Well let’s look at the spec sheet first than we on decide on that.
The new Gionee M6S Plus starts off with a 6 inch Super AMOLED display and 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It runs on a Snapdragon 653 processor with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 510 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and two storage options of 64GB and 256GB. This is a big improvement on the previous 4GB and 128GB storage, which was already awesome. But this is just too good for a smartphone.
On the back of the device is a 12MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture and on the front of the device is an 8MP selfie shooter. All of this is powered by a 6020mAh battery. Now that is a good battery for a flagship smartphone.
The Gionee M6S Plus has a price tag of CNY 3,499, which is about $508 for the 64GB storage option and for the 256GB option has a price tag of CNY 4,299, which is about $624. Like I said at the beginning, the spec sheet looks great. But we will get to know about the performance in a few weeks. Hope the performance will be as good as the spec sheet.
