Fossil have been making stylish watches for some time now. They are one of the many very well-known watch makers from all over the world and they have basically worked with almost every famous brand in the world including Armani, Kate Spade, DKNY, Skagen and many more. Other than that they have been making their own line of watches to wow the world. At this year’s Basselworld 2017 watch show Fossil had an announcement that basically took over the show. They just announced about 300 styles of Android and hybrid watches from 14 brands. That is one massive announcement and let me just try to give you a sneak peek into their plan.
All the new Android watches will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processors running Android Wear 2.0. The hardware on most of these are pretty similar with touchscreen AMOLED displays. This new line of Android watches include brands like Diesel, Michael Kors, Misfit and Emporio Armani. Diesel is going to launch its watches during holiday season. Michael Kors is also looking to launch them around the holiday season. Misfit is looking at a date later this summer. Emporio Armani on the other hand is looking for a date in September. But not just these, you will also get two new Fossil watches named the Q Venture and Q Explorist. Fossil is claiming that these will be the slimmest smartwatch you will be able to find from Fossil.
These Android Smartwatches were just the half of the announcement. They also announced a list of hybrid watches. These will come from DKNY, Marc Jacobs, MICHELE, Relic, Tory Burch, Armani Exchange, Chaps, Diesel, Emporio Armani, kate spade new York, Misfit, Michael Kors, Skagen. With all this Fossil is also launching two new hybrids too. They are the Q Accomplice and Q Activist. Also claiming to be the slimmest of the bunch. Fossil also has a bunch of seasonal dates to go with these watches but nothing for certain just yet. Fossil has not really given any detail on any of it. But they will probably maintain the look and feel of the traditional analog watches and include some useful features. They are also probably powered by the regular coin cell batteries. They are all Fossil made, so if you have used a Fossil watch before you will not really have any problem with the hardware and probably not the internals too.
Other than that we don’t know any other detail of these watches. But all the watches are said to be announced within this year. So we are expecting details in a few months.
