Amazon Go Beta Program Store Where You Can Just Walk Out With Products

Amazon is one of those companies that take unusual tech or gadgets to a whole new level. Just look at their latest launch – Amazon Go. It is a retail store that sells foods, snacks, lunch items, and groceries. There is nothing more to it. Well, there is one more thing. The store runs completely without any cashiers. Let me explain.

Instead of cashiers you will get a computer. It is not really that complicated. You scan yourself into the store with the Amazon Go app. This app connects you with your Amazon account. Then you walk around shop and as you walk out the door. The app records what you have purchased and automatically you are charged to your account on the app. Amazon is calling it ‘Just Walk Out’ technology. Cause the shoppers shop and just walk out.

According to the Wall Street Journal Amazon is reportedly targeting to open about 2,000 stores all over the US. Their main priority will be to give us all the facilities that they provide online. But make the buy physical instead of virtual.

Amazon has just started a Beta program just for their employees. Their only store is now located in Amazon’s hometown of Seattle, WA. Amazon will probably look to open the store to the public in early 2017.
